Honorary Life Members of The Pastel Society of Victoria, Australia

Honorary Life Membership Awards are rarely given. This award recognises members for their consistent and outstanding contribution to our Society.

The most recent Honorary Life Membership Awards were given to Andrew MacKenzie (OAM) and Sharon Martin in December 2024, by the then President Roz Long. Here is her introduction :

“Andrew Mackenzie has been our Patron for many years and has been instrumental in working with John Withers regarding sponsorship for the John Withers Emerging Artist Scholarship Program over the last three years. We are hopeful to have the opportunity to introduce this exciting program again in 2025. We have received several participants to this Program, and we look forward to working with John and Andrew and potential new members to our Society through this excellent program.”

“Sharon goes above and beyond for the Society spending many hours as our Web Administrator – updating our website, working on our social media accounts, as well as managing our IT infrastructure – email, Zoom, our Shop, accounting software etc. She works so hard behind the scenes and the Society would be lost without her. She does a brilliant job. Thank you so much Sharon”.
